Cristiano Ronaldo Destroyed Five Atletico Madrid Players And Almost Scored A Sublime Winner For Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo almost pulled off a show-stealing moment when he tore apart five Atletico Madrid players and almost scored a sensational winner for Juventus.
The Italian champions blew a 2-0 lead in the second half of their opening Group D clash in the Champions League at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday evening.
But Portuguese superstar Ronaldo, 34, almost broke the deadlock deep into injury time.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner received the ball from an Alex Sandro throw-in and found himself surrounded by four Atletico players.
Ronaldo, who scored a hat-trick againstAtletico in the Champions League last season, rolled back the years with a burst of pace and skilful dribbling into the box.
When another player tried to close him down, the Juventus superstar showed off a fancy bit of skill before pulling the ball on to his right foot and pulling off a low, powerful curling shot.
Unfortunately for Ronaldo, the shot dragged wide past Atletico shot-stopper Jan Oblak.
The ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid star had his hands on his head in disbelief, while the camera cut to show Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri sharing a similar reaction.
Juan Cuadrado opened the scoring for Juventus in the second half with a stunning strike from inside the box.
And the Old Lady doubled their advantage thanks to Blaise Matuidi and looked comfortable with their 2-0 lead at the Wanda Metropolitano.
But Atletico pulled one back through Stefan Savic and Hector Herrera came off the bench and scored the all-important equaliser in the 90th minute.
Sarri, who left Chelsea in the summer to become Juventus boss, was frustrated that his side surrendered a 2-0 lead when the match was in "our hand for a long time."
He said at his post-match press conference: "We need to improve in our aggressiveness and attention.
"The feeling is that it is not a question of form, because if you are passive, you are passive even marking yourself.
"Things were on display that we implement every day in training, but conceding these goals too is punishing."
Juventus will host Bayer Leverkusen in their next Champions League clash next month, while Atletico will travel to Lokomotiv Moscow.
