Sorry Manchester United’ – Almeria sign Arvin Appiah from Nottingham Forest and apologise to Red Devils for doing so

Almeria have completed the £8million signing of Arvin Appiah from Nottingham Forest – and they apologised to Manchester United for doing so.
Appiah, the England youth winger, is a graduate of Forest’s academy system and played eight times for the Championship club.
Appiah made a goalscoring debut for Nottingham Forest in last season’s Carabao Cup
He penned a contract extension in January which tied him down at the City Ground for four-and-a-half years, but the 18-year-old decided to make the move to Spain in an £8m deal.
Appiah joins Almeria, who currently sit third in the Segunda Division having won two and drawn one of their first three matches.
The youngster’s decision to drop down to Spain’s second division may come as a surprise given he was reportedly being tracked by a host of clubs over the past few months – including Manchester United.
