Mohamed Salah faces late Liverpool fitness test ahead of Man Utd trip

Liverpool will make a late call on the fitness of Mohamed Salah and Joel Matip ahead of Sunday's trip to Manchester United, while Alisson looks set to return.

Salah, the Egypt forward, injured his ankle in Liverpool's 2-1 win over Leicester in the last game before the international break. Matip, the Cameroonian centre-back, has been out since last month's 1-0 win at Sheffield United.

Matip, the Cameroonian focus back, has been out since a month ago's 1-0 win at Sheffield United.Klopp wouldn't affirm whether the harmed pair would be back for the excursion to Old Trafford, yet offered a positive update on the wellness of goalkeeper Alisson, who has been out since August.

Klopp stated: "Alisson looks totally fine and the others had sessions. Two sessions to go and we will see. 

"We should perceive how we manage that circumstance. So far everything is great yet at the same time two sessions to come." 

Requested damage update on the trio at his news meeting, Klopp included: "They are improving. How great we need to see. There's two additional sessions to come. We need to settle on choices and that is the way it is. Nothing is fixed at this point." 

'Joined versus Liverpool? It's the salt in the soup' 

Asked the amount he appreciates these events, he stated: "A great deal! It's the salt in the soup. Couldn't imagine anything better than to set up this game with an entire week. Yet, presently we have a global break - same for the two groups. 

"The players from the universal obligation they all returned solid which is significant. So we have three or four days with the full squad to get ready which is somewhat agreeable at any rate. I adore it."
